Monkeys of Gibraltar

Matt had an incredible opportunity to go to Gibraltar, a tiny British territory jutting out into the Mediterranean, from southern Spain.

When touring the rock you just can’t miss seeing one of the Gibraltar Monkeys. The Barbary Macaques are unusual and delightful attraction for anyone visiting the rock. The history of how and when they arrived on the European continent is unknown but there are numerous theories.

The locals believe that as long as Gibraltar Monkeys exist on Gibraltar, the territory will remain under British rule.
