Back home again in Indiana (a bit cliche, but true)

We had an amazing time in Indiana, starting with a mad dash to Plymouth, Indiana for David Seley's baptism. Our flight was an hour late, and the minister was kind enough to hold the baptism to the end. Phew... we made it. Matt and Sarah are the Godparents, so it was particularly important to be there! From there we had a nice lunch in Culver at the City Tavern (thanks Nanny and Geck) before heading to the lake for one of our family picnics. Aunt Sue, Uncle Jim, Ashley, Nate, Caitlin, Caroline, and Cindy headed over to Lake Maxinkuckee for a fantastic picnic, all cooked by Cindy. Of course, the 9 layer dip was the centerpiece. Thanks to Cindy and Shawn for hosting everyone! It was really really nice to be back in Culver. Larry and Joan Bess stopped by the lake with some of Larry's famous cookies (Thank you!)
After a gorgeous day at the lake, the Klines headed down to Indianapolis. We stayed with Pop (Jeff) and Jan, and enjoyed being back in Indy. A few outings included the Monon Trail, Bazbeaux's Pizza, the Canal Bistro and Cork and Cracker. In Indianapolis we had quality time with Dad Lockwood and Jan, with Dad Kendrick, and Cindy and Ashley's families. We also got enjoyed seeing Jim and Sue, Twyllah and Susan Bettis. Dad L, Matt, Madison and Sarah took a boat ride across the lake, and went for a swim on the beach. When we returned Marianne and the kids were swimming, and it was terrific to see them too!

The Indianapolis finale was a party at Ashley's house, where the whole Lockwood, Ventura, Seley and Kline families got together, and Susan too. Debbi Strack also stopped by to meet the babies! What a fun, festive and energetic event. Thanks Ashley! Jeff and Jan treated with a spaghetti dinner. Thanks!

We are sure missing everyone, and enjoyed our time together!
